Amy L. Elson is an Associate Attorney at Drewry Simmons Vornehm, LLP, where she concentrates her practice in civil litigation in the areas of health care, construction, real estate, and business litigation.  Throughout her career, Amy has represented clients in eminent domain, insurance defense, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and creditor’s rights matters. Prior to joining DSV, Amy served as the Associate Director of the nationally-ranked Hall Center for Law & Health at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

Amy received her B.A. from Indiana University in 1995 (summa cum laude; Phi Beta Kappa).  She is a 1998 graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she served as Executive Articles Editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies.  In 2004, she completed an M.A. in United States History with a concentration in legal history at Indiana University.   She is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Indiana.
