Scott concentrates his practice in the areas of construction and real estate law. He has experience representing all participants in the construction industry, including public and private owners, general and prime contractors and subcontractors. Scott assists his clients in all types of project disputes whether related to payment or performance issues. On the transactional side, Scott assists a wide range of clients with drafting and negotiating construction and design contracts, real estate purchase agreements, land contracts, and lease agreements. He also advises clients on due diligence, closing and title insurance issues.

Scott has been recognized as an Indiana Super Lawyer Rising Star in the practice area of Construction Litigation for 2015 – 2017. He is also an adjunct professor at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis for such classes as Construction Law and Ethics and Facilities Contract Management.

Scott is a frequent speaker at various seminars and has written numerous articles and publications on a broad range of construction and real estate topics.
