Indiana’s Construction Industry Supports Indianapolis Parks Foundation!

Thanks to a client invite, I attended this year’s IPL Mayor’s Lunch for the Parks at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown.  While this was Mayor Joe Hogsett’s first Parks Luncheon as the Mayor of Indianapolis, it was the 14th Annual Mayor’s Lunch for the Indianapolis Parks Foundation.  It was a sold-out event with the friendly and capable Indy Parks’ staff in attendance along with some rescued owls, a hawk, and a snake, innovative playground equipment (including a swing that accommodates parent and child), and great food (whoopee pies for dessert).  It was a wonderful event that clearly benefits all of Indianapolis’ communities.   Mayor Hogsett expressed the importance of the Indy Parks and its Foundation taking Indianapolis to the next level.  Not for those in attendance and their families, but for those less fortunate citizens who find joy and hope in the parks and nourishing food through the Park’s Indy Urban Acres.

Many of DSV’s clients represent the construction industry, including architects, engineers, surveyors, general contractors, subcontractors, developers and owners.  They plan, design, develop, renovate, and construct our communities.  In addition, they support our communities.  Consequently, it was great to see so many clients and members of the construction industry at this year’s luncheon supporting the Indianapolis Parks Foundation.  Of the fifty-nine (59) sponsors of this year’s IPL Mayor’s Lunch for the Parks, more than twenty (20) were design firms, general contractors and subcontractors.   Thank you for building and supporting our communities, especially the Indianapolis Parks Foundation!
