Janet A. McSharar, DSV Health Care Partner, was selected to serve on the Indiana Health Care Association/Indiana Center for Assisted Living (IHCA/INCAL) Regulatory Clinical Committee for Nursing Facilities. The Regulatory Clinical Committee for Nursing Facilities examines and analyzes emerging regulatory, clinical, and quality issues that impact, or could impact, the long term care profession.
The IHCA/INCAL is Indiana’s largest trade association and advocate representing proprietary, not-for-profit and hospital-based skilled nursing, assisted living communities and Independent Living. IHCA/INCAL’s more than 370 member facilities care for more than 25,000 of Indiana’s geriatric and developmentally disabled citizens, the majority of whom are low-income Medicaid recipients.
The mission of the IHCA/INCAL is to educate, inform, and advocate on behalf of health care providers, consumers, and the workforce. IHCA/INCAL maintains committees for legislative, regulatory, reimbursement and public affairs, as well as member services.
